College Degrees
College degrees consist of undergraduate degrees (Associate's and Bachelor's), Graduate degrees (Master's, PhD, Doctoral), and other professional degrees (Medical Doctor, JD [Law Degree], DDS [Doctor of Dental Surgery].
Graduate and professional degrees require an undergraduate Bachelor's degree.
Associate's degree credits can be used toward a Bachelor's degree.
Master's degree credits can often be used toward a PhD degree.
A newer trend is for colleges to offer dual degrees, such as combined MBA/JD, or combined Bachelor's and Master's.
