Junk Mail

Companies send out a lot of advertising Junk Mail to potential customers attempting to drum up business for their products and services. There is a lot of paper waste associated with this. These companies are not likely stop doing this on a large scale, due to the other 'green' that they are after. You can, however, write or e-mail these companies and ask them to take you off their mailing lists, especially if you receive the same advertising over and over again. Complain strongly about this. Your results may not be 100% as these companies are often using purchased mailing lists. At least you have done your part.
